New Cover Reveal – Tales from the New Earth: Book 5

Hey all:

Just wanted to give you a sneak peek at the cover at my next book in the Tales from the New Earth series. It’s called The Dragons of Ash and Smoke. I hope you like it! It should (fingers crossed) be out by the end of October or early November.

Have a great day!

  1. Hi

Any date for the release of the next book, Dragons of Ash and Fire. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

  2. Decided to read the first Tale on a whim and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to book 5. Can I state one slight criticism? Similar to the character of Richard in Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series, Simon always seems to have his abilities dialled back. Book 5 and 6 should show Simon finally achieving Mastery, if he is to take on the last mother dragon and perhaps even the Lords of Chaos. It’s time we had Simon unleashed! 🙂

    • Thanks for the comment. If you’ve picked up Book 5 yet, you’ll see that Simon’s powers are definitely beginning to amp up. Of course, it’s a slow progression, as he is still learning what he can and can’t do (and what he should and shouldn’t do). I’d say lessons are learned in this book, but whether they are for good or ill, we’ll just have to wait and see. Take care!

  3. Book 5…ANOTHER Book I couldn’t put down!!! Keep it up! You are rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors!! Thanks for a terrific read!

    • I had a wonderful letter going offering assistance with details (written and photos) in and around Moskva (lived and worked there for 4 years), Tver, St. Petersburg (spent considerable time in both – living, attending school, and working), Bavaria (4 months there while husband was in hospital), and Riga, Latvia (Old Town and eerie Occupation Museum) if you want to “flesh out” some settings New Earth folks might stumble across in future books and it vanished! Grrrr! Offer stands, though not as nicely as in the original letter, if you’re interested. Those Muskovites do love their liquid gold as much as Simon does, not only in the morning, but all day long!
